What’s for tea, Mummy? Maggots on toast???

After dropping Sprog1 off at school we took Bonehead off for a run and for some peculiar reason I became all arty with the camera, apologies, I’ll try not to let it happen again. Anyway here’s a special fern, so special that out of the millions on Beacon Hill I decided to take it’s picture

Sprog2 and Bonehead looking for ponies over the Wye Valley

Found the ponies, although they didn’t come to see us today, looks like they’re settling in

Told you it was getting arty, I’ll have to have a lie down

And still more, “Black! BLACK!! YOU LOCK Me sit in the cellar and feed me Pins!!”

I do apologise, still Bonehead was very good up to this point, she played with a black lab called ‘Digby’, although he wasn’t the biggest dog in the world, nor was he an OES? then obviously she had to sit in the muddiest(only) puddle she could find

God this dog smells sometimes

Dog & Sprog2 on a pony hunt

Today whilst taking the dog (or Bonehead as I prefer to call her) for a walk on Beacon hill with sprog2 we noticed a new sign…..

Excellent thinks we.. wild mountain ponies, so off we go, can you see a pony in this picture?

No?…. neither can I, try the next one then

That’s right a whole herd of invisible green ponies… Ha!!! Sprog2 then started moaning about a lack of said ponies and the usual… “but it takes a long time” could be heard coming from his mouth. Sprog2 and Bonehead then decided to wander off while I pratted about with the camera. Then it’s time to go back to the car to pick up Sprog1 from school

When…….. smack in the middle of the path back…… Bonehead develops small/far away problems and is kept on a tight leash, Sprog 2 realises they are much bigger than him so the three of us shuffle up the track to the gate with four ponies traipsing along behind doing the “any sugar guv?”, “could do with an apple…” tricks instead they had to make do with rubbing noses with Bonehead thru’ the gate

One last photo and we headed off back to the car
